The Boothbay Railway Museum is a popular attraction, where you can ride Maine's only 2' narrow gauge railway. The Botanical Gardens are fun to explore with paths that wind and reveal a wealth of nature's beauty. The Summer Theater showcases a unique blend of local and nations talent. Boothbay Region Land Trust is home to over 924 acres for self-guided tours. Lest we forget nearby Fort Edgecomb and the Sheepscot River; whose pottery is a must see for visitors.
Just Minutes Down the Road Stroll Boothbay Harbor's beautiful winding streets dotted with shops, wonderful restaurants, and beautiful historic homes. Just down the street, enjoy a round of golf at The Boothbay Country Club. Be sure to visit the unique footbridge that spans the inner harbor. There are plenty of art galleries; we have our own Opera House, and Windjammer Days in June is a terrific way to celebrate our harbor and sailing heritage. It's all a photographer's dream.
